In episode forty five we discuss The Devil Made Me Do It Case. On February 16, 1981, the police were called to the Brookfield Pet Motel after an arguement left 40 year old, Alan Bono, dead of multiple stab wounds. The perpetrator? 19 year old Arne Johnson from Bridgeport, CT. Arne could not remember the events that led up to the crime and his family claimed he was possessed by an entity that had tormented 11 year old David Glaztel during the summer of 1980. The highly publicized trial, which involved Ed & Lorraine Warren, became known as the "The Devil Made Me Do It Case" and was the first in US history to claim demonic possession as a defense. But how did Arne become possessed in the first place? And would he be able to escape the entities wrath?
